The Tucson gas-only engine, standard on the SE, SEL, XRT, N Line, and Limited, is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque and is paired with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available.
The hybrid engine is a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor that creates a combined 226 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and is standard on the Hybrid Blue, Hybrid SEL Convenience, and Hybrid Limited.
The plug-in-hybrid engine is a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor to generate 261 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
The hybrid and the plug-in hybrid are both equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
The Tucson SE has plenty of standard safety, exterior, technology, and interior features.
